Peter Kiio Manundu was appointed Principal at Eastleigh High School in February 2017.

Peter Manundu was born in Kitui and completed his A Levels at St Charles Lwanga High School in Kitui. He then went on to higher education achieving several qualifications. These included a B.Ed. from Kenyatta University (Kiswahili and Visually Impaired) and an M.Ed. from Moi University (Education Leadership, Policy and Administration). He is currently writing his thesis on Education Administration for a Ph.D. at South Eastern Kenya University.

Peter has taught in a range of secondary schools since April 1986 - including Lema Girls (Makueni), Tudor Secondary (Mombasa), Machakos Boys, Kamukunji High, Hospital Hill High, Mwangaza Secondary (Deputy Principal) and Drumvale Secondary (Principal)

Peter is married and they have four children - two boys and two girls.
