EHS - Report on use of Computers
2007 ESS Alumni donated first 31 computers to the school from the UK.
2008 Form 1 students started computer literacy classes in the Physics lab.
2010 One class of Form 3 started an examination course with Mr. Lumumba.
2011 The Ministry of Education through the Economic Stimulus Program donated 10 computers, 1 laptop, 1 LCD projector and a printer to the school. They also facilitated networking for the computer room and internet connection for one year.
2012 ESS Alumni donated 31 more computers and 2 laptops from the UK.
2012 The Teachers Service Commission provided a computer teacher, Mrs. Emily Gichuki. Computer literacy classes started in the evenings for some classes.
2012 School got software for management of examinations and all teachers are acquainted with the programme.
2013 5 candidates sat for KCSE Computer Studies for the first time.
2014 The Board of Management employed another computer teacher, Mr. Allan Maate. All Form 1 and 2 classes timetabled for computer literacy classes.
 
General
Teachers have more access to computers and type their subject examinations papers using them. Access to the Internet has assisted both students and teachers to research work more easily. Computers were given to Mathematics, Science and Technical subject Departments for use in administration.
