Our School
By Asif Butt Graduating Class of 1962 |
In the morn to school we walk
There to hear a lot of talk
On subjects that are varied
Good; bad; interesting; arid.
The first thing we do is P.T.
To make us feel not lazy
Head up; chest out first command
But we chitter not before Mr. Shant
Then to our rooms we return
From our teachers to learn
That English is a dire need
To earn ourselves enough to feed
Maths and English are good
And so are Scouting and its brood
Would you live life to the full
Learn these things over so dull.
The bell monitor wakes up
And rings the bell
The sound of the bell is scurrying feet
Mingles to home is sweet
