I was born in Nairobi and completed my early education at Ainsworth Primary, Eastleigh Secondary and Upper Hill schools, After my A levels, I worked for a year with Kassim Lakha Abdullah, Chartered Accountants and completed my Section 1 of The ACCA through correspondence school at the same time.

I proceeded to the UK and qualified as a Charted Accountant in 1975 and received the fellowship certification in 1977. I started my accounting practice in Southall in 1978. I married Devinder, my lovely wife in 1979 and in 1981, moved with my wife and daughter Sunaina to Toronto. We have two lovely daughters and a son, all of them older than us and unmarried.

I worked in a controllership position and after achieving my Canadian Chartered Accountants designation I set up practice in Brampton in 1985. I have been there since. In 2000 I qualified as a Certified Financial Planner. I currently live at my resort in Caledon Village and spend my time looking after my accounting practice, real estate investments, my small portfolio and playing golf with my buddies.

I want to thank our school teachers, god bless them, who taught us with great dedication enabling us all to be successful human beings. I am anxiously looking forward to meeting my old school buddies, some of whom I have been in contact and met since the 2011 reunion. I feel we are so lucky to have this medium to reconnect and reflect on the years past and those ahead.
