“And now ladies and gentlemen, I must acquaint you with the academic achievements of the school which in the last few years have gone from strength to strength. It is with glowing pride and deepest satisfaction that I mention the 1966 Cambridge Results which reached its highest mark – 82.6 per cent excluding G.C.E. Academically 1966 was a year of records. 82.6 per cent is a record harvest.” Mr A N Sharma (Narad), Annual Prize Giving Day
“There were only 2 outright failures.” The overall pass percentage including G.C.E. was 98.6. A school that can produce such magnificent results must be a good school.” Mr A N Sharma (Narad), Annual Prize Giving Day
The last editorial urged us to “seek to conquer new heights.” We are happy to note that we have done exactly that. We will say nothing about our 98.6 % passes in the Cambridge School Certificate with 32 in Division I.” Editorial
“Needless to say, our Cambridge School Certificate Results were better than ever. We scored a 98 per cent pass, with 32 Division I, 42 Division II, 43 Division III and 21 G.C.Es. We cannot add anything or we may be accused of blowing our own trumpet.” From School Notes |
