| Exam Year 1956 - ESS Magazine 1957 |
" On the Academic side in 1955, we had the highest percentage of successes in the Overseas Cambridge School Certificate Exams, as compared with any other Asian School in the Colony. Our results in 1956, have more than fulfilled our expectations. Our percentage of passes was 61. Our special congratulations go to Master Shamshuddin Gulamali Khakee, who stood first at this School in the aggregate number of Distinctions and Credits and to Master Tarlochan Singh (Bedi) who came second. I feel confident that the year 1957 will bring better results judging from the seriousness with which our present Form IV have taken to their studies, determined to get nothing less than a First or a good Second Division pass." Mr. K Lal, Annual School Prize Giving Day
"Ours is not an old school, but the way it has established itself within the short span of six years must surprise everyone. Viewing the progress made on the academic side, we are glad to report that our school had the honour of topping all the Asian Schools in Nairobi in the Cambridge School Certificate Examination results." Editorial
"12th February was a grand day. School Certificate results were out. Our pass percentage at 61 was better than any other Asian School in Nairobi." From School Notes by V S Bhardwaj |
