I was very sad to see Mr. Bhardwaj's obituary notice in the London Free Press. I attended St. Clair high school during the 70s, and Mr. Bhardwaj was my grade 10 English teacher. I remember him as a very calm, kind person who obviously cared very much about his students and his subject. He made our study of "Macbeth" and "Lord of the Flies" very enjoyable, and he certainly helped inspire in me a lifelong love of reading and of English literature. I am very sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Judy Tuck

I too attended St.Clair Secondary School and Mr. Bhardwaj was my English teacher in '76 and '77. He fostered a love of reading and tried to instill in his pupils an appreciation for our education that we took for granted. I can still quote him more than 30 years later; how many teachers can say that? I am sorry for your loss; I hope it is comforting to know that he influenced many in his years of teaching.
