We were contacted by Mr. Pankaj Bakshi to inform us that his father, Shri Shantilal Hiralal Bakshi passed away on 1st April 2008.
Shri Bakshi was born in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India on 10th April 1918. He was a Physical Education and Sports teacher at Racecourse Secondary School and then briefly at Eastleigh Secondary School in 1956. He then went on to become the Headmaster at Nairobi South Primary School where he worked for several years. He leaves behind his wife, six daughters and a son, 14 grand children and 8 great grand children.
On behalf on all members of the ESS community, we express our deep sorrow and wish to pass our condolences to Mrs. Bakhi, to his son Pankaj and to all members of the Bakshi family. May his soul rest in peace! Om Shanti! Shanti! Shanti!
