The event was a big success. We had 44 attendees including our special guest Mr Yash P Ohry who donated £250 on behalf of Thika Residents Reunion Association. The organisation, which had folded up, had £250 left in their account, which they wished to donate to a worthy cause.
My thanks go to all the committee members who helped make the event a success. My particular thanks to Varinder who handled the tickets and was instrumental in getting the donation; to Ajay who brought his own equipment and organised the Karaoke entertainment that everyone enjoyed so much; to Hasu Joshi who negotiated with the Restaurant a meal which all present agreed was very good; to Varinder, Vijay, Pradeep and Satwinder for getting so many members to come.
I received some very positive feedback from members who came. We had at least 6 new members, who were full of praise! We did well financially too.

I would also like to know what you think should be our next programme/event. When should we have it?
On the EHS front, Mr Wambugu, the Principal, has been transferred to Jamhuri High School! I am reliably informed by my sources that Mr. Maritim is the new Principal and Mr. Akukastill is the new Deputy Principal. I will confirm these names after getting in touch with the new Principal.
I hope to hear from you all soon. Regards and best wishes!
