I was at ESS from 1958 to 1961. I recall being the tiniest student at ESS and being icknamed 'Sputnik' or more coarsely 'pygmy'; neither of these sobriquets bothered me much as the atmosphere was wonderfully fraternal and supportive. Those were days to treasure.

I left Kenya in 1964, studied Medicine in Spain and moved to the USA in 1970 I currently practise Forensic Psychiatry. I live on a former farm that I have converted back to its natural habitat. I have remained single but have 6 cats which more than make up for the absent spousal nagging.

I hope to retire in London if and when property prices crash.
