I was born in Nairobi in 1940 and attended City Primary and Nairobi South Primary schools. I went to ESS for 4 years and obtained my Cambridge Overseas School Certificate in 1960.

I played Hockey for the school in my first year and captained the school Hockey team in my final year in 1960. I was a school Prefect and took a keen interest in Athletics. I represented Congo House and it was great fun! We had some good teachers and Mr Hashmi, Mr Deol, Mr Shant and Mr Sharma immediately come to mind.

My wife and I now lead a retired life. We have two children, both married. We are the proud grandparents of six grand-children!
