I attended Eastleigh Secondary School from 1960 to 1963. After my Cambridge School Certificate, I left for the UK for further studies in 1964, only to return in 1966 owing to the untimely demise of my father.

I joined the family business which I controlled until 1973. I then left for the UK and established my own Insurance and Mortgage brokerage company which I have run for the last 43 years by the name of Ragarfield Insurance and Mortgage Brokers in Kent.
